Apple, Nokia and Microsoft have scheduled announcements Tuesday to review new tablets. It is a big deal. Tablets have become a huge market in the short time the late Steve Jobs first held up the iPad.
The New York Times reports that 120 million tablets were shipped last year. That is a seven-fold increase over two years earlier.
