Needing (well, wanting) more space on your iPhone is a pretty common problem, but upgrading to the latest device plus opting for the largest storage option is so out-there expensive. Enter Mophie. The company that made the rechargeable case for your smartphone is at it again with the Spacepack, an iPhone case that both charges your iPhone 5/5s and gives it 32 GB of extra storage space.
The case visibly enlarges your phone, but that's to be expected with both the extra juice and storage that it provides. The case works as, say, an SD card would work for a Galaxy S4. But unlike an SD card, you don't have access to it with your native apps. In other words, if you want to show off photos of your Super Bowl party that are stored on the Mophie case, you have to access the app for the case, not your 'Photos' app. Small price to pay.
The Spacepack will begin shipping on March 14, but you can pre-order yours at mophie.com ($180 for 32 GB, $150 for 16 GB).
